Your Ideal Mindset - Just 3 Tips Away

Mindset - it’s a little word with very powerful meaning. In fact, it’s been proven time and time again that success is based less on our talents and abilities and more on having the proper mindset. So, how do you go about getting it?

Here are three tips I’ve personally put into practice already in 2019...

1. PROTECT YOUR TIME

We’re surrounded by time stealers. They’re both people and habits. The key is to identify them. Ask yourself, “Is what I’m doing today, or who I’m spending time with today, getting me closer to my dreams?

If not, then you are simply wasting time. If you started your business knowing what you know now, what - or who - would you exclude? This might mean making some difficult choices, but those choices will be worth it in the long run.

Build a resistance to the things that don’t elevate your life and business. Remember, anything can be permissible. Not everything will be beneficial. Check yourself daily: are you accomplishing what you set out to today, what you know you should be able to accomplish?

If not, then it’s time to eliminate the time stealers.

2. BE GROUNDED

You cannot bear fruit if you’re not grounded somewhere good and plentiful. That said, where you are grounded is the basis for all your growth. Are you planting your flag for the future? Have you resolved completely to do whatever it takes in 2019 to take your business and your life to the next level?

Have you prepared for the sacrifice, the hard work, the haters and the many obstacles? That’s what being grounded means. No matter how strong the storm, your roots are planted. Remain consistent in your actions and focused on your goals, and before you know it, your roots will drive deeper.

When the rough days come, and they will, you can take comfort in the strength of your roots.

3. KNOW YOUR PURPOSE

When it comes to having the right mindset, knowing what you don’t want is just as important as knowing what you do want. Without this distinction, it’s far too easy to entertain distractions instead of focusing on your purpose.

You have to know what you want with absolute clarity because vague goals lead to vague outcomes. Purpose gives you patience, staying power, so you know where you’re going and why. Purpose makes the obstacles seem smaller, more manageable, giving you the focus you need to get back up, shake off the dust and keep moving forward.

Purpose gives you clarity - helping you remember that success is simply a matter of time and hard work. Lastly, having purpose will allow you to move with certainty toward the people and factors that will help you fulfill your goals (and in turn avoid those time stealers).

Right now, ACN is the greatest it’s ever been, but we’re far from the greatest we will ever be.

Let these ideals become the fibers of your mindset; practice them every day, one day at a time, and it will only be a matter of time before you discover how powerful having the right mindset can be.
